Over the years, Credinta has been watching Nesreca. They watched to the point where they expected absolutely nothing, so when Nesreca slowly began to populate over the last two and a half years, they grew wary. They built a wall around the city to keep the Nesrecans out, fearful they would cause nothing but harm upon the city, but unfortunately it didn't stop them, the Mayor noticed.
Two were arrested, during these two and a half years, and one of their own from Credinta is suspected in involvement. Their own citizens have been taken over and killed.
They had been carefully planning an attack for over a year, now, seeing that Happenings on the Other Side aren't going away, and the fact that buildings randomly appear new - in come cases, things randomly working for a day makes them overly cautious. The citizens have been talking, some have even moved away form the gates or out of the city entirely, fearful of what may happen to them, given the stories of Nesreca's history. Others have secretly supporting the Nesrecans, aiding with supplies and other necessities to make life in the abandoned city easier.
In response to people fleeing, the mayor has decided to finally take action, to finally take things into his own hands: sending the city's small military force out on attack on the city, an potentially be rid of it forever.
What this is is an attack from Credinta on Nesreca in an attempt to get rid of everyone and return the city to his abandoned, lifeless state; and if it can be managed, burn the city down.

→ So what do we do?
Defend the city, naturally! Keep them from destroying from what's been rebuilt and repaired, from starting controlled fires. These soldiers will have rifles and automatic guns, grenades, and also will not hesitate to send in a tank if need be. (However, this will likely simply be a last-ditch effort to rid of "the strange people," aka Nesreca residents, Teutorix, and Libitina.
Force an early retreat, if possible! Otherwise, they will keep pressing until they are given the order to pull back, should one come at all. These are very determined soldiers with a goal in mind.
Libitina and Teutorix will personally aid in trying to save Nesreca and force the soldiers back, although their methods of doing so may not be approved by their "toys." On the 19th, there will be an event in which, for a while at least, those affected will experience a literal out of body experience. They will see their own unconscious body, unable to really do much of anything while in this 'spirit' state. This will all from Credinta. As for Teutorix, he will be personally dealing with any soldier that gets too close to his and Libitina's home and those that attempt to burn down the city (although he can only be in so many places at once), and will also do what he can to negate attempts to bomb the city.
→ Okay, so when is this happening?
The attack will start around mid-morning on Friday, July 13th! Full calendar is below!
→ How will we know this is happening?
With Cross unable to give warning (as he is under suspicion himself of being involved with Things Happening in Nesreca and thus being carefully watched), there isn't much warning beyond the destruction happening in the city as the military goes on with its mission. Some are free to spot the forces marching in, or notice/overhear what's going on in Nesreca, however!
→ Where will they be coming from?
The military will be split into two troops, with one each crossing over each major bridge/overpass into Nesreca from Crednita, exact locations can be noted in the map here! After entering Nesreca, they'll each split into two, again, creating four small groups going after various parts of the city and looking for any residents.
→ What if we can't fight?
The best advice we can give is for your character to either work around this and help out in their own way or seek shelter. Of course, it's up to you whether your character does either of these things or not!
→ What of the aftermath?
Though Credinta won't be planning another large-scale attack after this, they will still keep a very close watch over Nesreca and their own city, setting up more checkpoints along the wall (on the inside, at least) and do intend to (try and) interfere with supportive efforts by trying to discourage such actions. Naturally, they'll make it harder for those to sneak in and out of Credinta. Please keep this in mind for any future endeavors into the city.

So, given the restoration, then destruction of various buildings in Nesreca (not least the most recent City Hall and Armory), Raven's not afraid of ghosts. She's fairly well suited to exploring the places, given her range of abilities, but she wouldn't do so alone.

I think, what with Sasuke wanting to repair the building, that I'm just. going to go on and handwave that. actual process. If anyone wants to actually play it out, go ahead and ping me and we can do that! Just be aware that I don't actually. know anything about construction myself.  Buuuut I am going to guesstimate that the process of successfully repairing seven rooms will at least take a couple of months, so by the first of December, those rooms will finally be available to live in! (He is a bored busy bee.) | |

That's for the students, since we now have ten we're going to split you up into manageable sizes for Lavi to deal with! /o/ They'll go from about 12:30pm until about 1:30 or 2:30 pm! Lavi doesn't want to take up too much of your time. And homework really should only take about fifteen minutes after that?

There is no way really for me to do the lessons aside from a log but seeing as they'll be every other day for the Nesrecians, it's kind of redundant as well! Besides that, I don't know Russian.
SO! What this will be is a handwaved meet up.
It's up to you to decide how well and how fast your character will learn to read, write, and speak another language as well as deal with the currency of the country. Keeping in mind that it's probably difficult but less so than learning English (which is - as I last heard it - the hardest language to learn).
However, if there is something of interest to you that you'd like to play out that occurred during the lessons, let me know!
Be warned: Lavi's teaching style is quite spartan (blame Bookman) and he will issue homework. But he has the best interests of his students at heart! Lavi loves languages and loves to pass them on, so question him. Use it as a prompt in an entry to get more CR with him if you like! I'll probably be using online translators to help me with whatever questions that get asked so it won't be (entirely) my fault if I'm wrong. >>;;;

So Rhode went quiet on me, which is why -- my tags were left hanging. gfkhlgk I'm sorry, guys! BUT while I was canon reviewing to get her to stop being such a stubborn little girl, I decided to poke around and test the waters for some plot.
So those that don't know D.Gray-Man canon, Rhode is an evil little shit. She can get inside your head, make you live your worst nightmares, and even kill your conscious temporarily to turn you into a living doll.
Unfortunately for Rhode, she sort of has this pact with Allen that she'll behave herself -- which she's stuck to mostly because there are so many Exorcists here and she doesn't want to die because they know how to kill her. 8( It's very sad.
HOWEVER, Rhode is more than a little tired of -- well, Nesreca in general. And she wants to try getting the fuck out of this place. Which means that she wants to attempt to take on Libitina and her boss in an epic showdown of awesome.
SO I REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING.
1. Matt, Hoshi, I'll ping you in a private PM to see whether or not this is even possible? The idea was thrown around by El and I awhile ago, but in-game shenanigans interrupted it, and then the idea was kind of dropped. OR WE COULD TALK ABOUT IT HERE, WHATEVER.
2. Rhode isn't exactly a fighter -- her area of expertise is mind-fuckery, not beating shit up. HOWEVER, she can use this mind-fuckery to deal out some pretty painful consequences -- including eating someone's conscious and controlling their body. If Libitina proves to be too much, she very may well want to use someone as a meatshield. ... someone moderately useful, but let's be totally honest, this is partially for the lulz.
... and, as always, I am up for any good amount of mindfuckery. 8) But I kind of want to do something big with Rhode because I feel like I haven't been giving her enough moderately evil things to do.
