Hello, everyone! I'm new here and slightly nervous since this seems to be such a small and tight knit game. Either way, I'm happy to be here!
I'm Lina and this lovely lady is Dr. Rebecca Holiday from Generator Rex, a series that's a lot like X-Men but it's totally not X-Men. I'll have to explain more since her presence in Nesreca could influence a few things (like whether or not your character suddenly turns into a monster), but that'll be behind the cut if you're interested.

linatrinch. The Doc's intro will be today at some point, I think. Also, she thinks she's dead, so there's that.
There are a lot of lengthy explanations, but I'll keep it really short. Basically, her whole world is infected with teeny tiny machines called nanites. These nanites usually remain dormant and fine, but sometimes they get infected and activate, causing the host to turn into an EVO. EVO's are the previously mentioned MONSTER things, but sometimes it just ends up being a disfigured person with weird powers (if you're lucky).
Holiday is not an EVO but she does have the nanites, just like every other living thing on her planet. They are not airborne simply because I don't want everyone ever to be infected if they don't choose to be. If you do want to get infected, think of it like an STI. Mixing of bodily fluids (trying to stop a bleeding wound, romantic activities, vampires, etc) will do the trick.
If your character gets infected, they DO NOT have to turn. It's more of a plot to keep handy, but if you DO want them to turn, go right on ahead. Just keep in mind that the only known cure isn't there and they may have to kill you if you're the really bad kind. If you choose this option, I can give you more info on EVOs. Basically, the sky's the limit with these guys. You can do all kinds of stuff.
In the case of anyone turning EVO or anyone getting her nanites, I'd like to alert the mods to it first. Also, if your character tries to help her if she gets injured and they get blood on them (or some other random scenario), I will not argue with you and tell you that your character is infected. This is ENTIRELY up to you and what you want to do with this. Also, Holiday will NOT be turning EVO as of right now.
If you have questions, feel free to ask. Considering this was all in her app, I think scenarios like this are in generally okay with the mods. If that changes, I'll take all of this down and no harm done.

Hey Lina! I'm World, and I play AU!Dr. Kiriko from Black Jack 21, Lucas T. from The Book of Lies, and Lin Mayuzumi from Remember11. I am so excited to see you here! It's been awhile since we've had someone new. I'll add you on plurk if that's alright.
Dr. Holiday sounds like a really neat character, and her canon sounds intriguing. Can't wait to see her around!
